SAT寫作的基本結構

1. 開頭段寫作構成:

1)開門見山式： 觀點 + 解釋 + 例子

Example 1: Can any obstacle be turned into something good? (2006.1)

Every adversity can be changed into something good, if one has the right attitude or perspective. (觀點句) People holding this attitude are confident, and welcome challenges and misfortune. (解釋句) My personal experience is a compelling example to demonstrate it.(例子句)

2) 讓步轉折式：對方觀點 + 自己觀點 + 解釋自己觀點

Example 1: Can any obstacle be turned into something good? (2006.1)

People tend to believe that every adversity can be changed into something worse. (對方觀點句) however, I hold that obstacle can be turned into something good if one has the right attitude or perspective.(自己觀點) Such misfortune people encountered does help people build up their confidence and make them more courageous to overcome any deadlock. (解釋自己觀點)

2. 例子段寫作結構:

例子段開頭(介紹例子) + 例子段中間(故事講述)+ 例子段結尾(分析總結故事)

1) 例子段開頭模版句式

……is an excellent example to demonstrate / prove / illustrate that…

An excellent example to illustrate….can be found..

In my personal experience, I have found that…….

2) 例子段中間故事敘述方式： 夾敘夾議 (故事內容概括敘述即可)

3)例子段結尾模版句式

If sb. continued to …., sb. would have done…… Yet, if sb. refused to ….., sb. would have …… It is because of his …..that …… . this example , thus, prove that ….

3. 結尾段寫作方式

1) 觀點重述

To conclude, …..

Therein lies the reason that …..

2) 例子重述

Truly , then , my personal experience…..

Overall, sb’s experiences exemplify …….
