一名學生從法學院畢業后，一般先從事務律師做起，積累幾年經驗通過考試后在律師協會注冊，申請成為出庭律師。

根據澳大利亞著名求職網站(https://au.indeed.com/)顯示，事務律師的年薪平均可達99,724澳幣。可見這個職業的錢途是多么的敞亮!

中國的法律專業留學生，在澳洲求職其實是有語言優勢的。每一年華人移民人口都在增長，而當這些華人需要法律援助的時候，都是會優先去尋找那些既能講中文又能講英文的華人律師進行咨詢。

在澳洲成為律師的必要條件

1. 法學學歷背景(受認證的法律學位Bachelor of Laws或者Juris Doctor);以及

2. 律師執業培訓 Practical Legal Training(PLT)

在進行選校的時候，通常我們會看到幾種不同類型的法學課程名稱，一個是Juris Doctor(JD)，一個是Master of Laws(LLM)，還有一個是Bachelor of Laws(LLB)。

對于JD和LLM，有一些小伙伴也會迷糊，這兩個有啥區別?Juris Doctor是博士學位，這么好?

首先，Juris Doctor不是博士學位，而是Coursework Master Degree，歸國認證的時候，留學服務中心也是將其學歷表述為碩士層次。

其次，澳洲JD與LLM都是要求至少本科畢業的學生才能申，他們的主要區別在于：JD無需法學背景，LLM則必須有法學專業背景;JD可以申請注冊律師執照，而LLM不可以：JD的課程一般為三年制，而LLM則多數為一年制;JD是移民專業，而LLM則不是。

如果國內法學本科的學生，只想做一個背景提升拿碩士學歷回國就業的話，選擇LLM就是最合適的。
